Posts: 908 Group: Member Member #9,238 Joined: March 22, 2013 Gender Not Specified	It may have something to do with the big-bang in terms of the creation of the universe, as we are made of star dust from our own star (in terms of we come from the planet, and the planet was made in the cloud of dust that the same star etc), other than that its dependent on how you look at it. For me, because of the initial fault that caused the groupings atoms (Some atoms where not made as perfectly as others, this caused weaker atoms to group together, and form gases/solid matter/etc) that helped create the universe as we know it, thus caused the same genetic faults in everything, thus why stars/planets/people don't last forever. We are all constantly dying and thus changing as well. Because of the fault within human DNA, that ultimately causes random minute changes and then passes that information on, that could be view as a direct link to the universe it self. The big bang theory dictates that even the universe will at one point end, via a universal retraction (Like it exploded outwards......and this it will retract back into nothingness at some point.). Like some deity couldn't stop the universe ending so it set a chain reaction off to create ever adapting life in the hopes that it becomes intelligent enough to save the universe. Somehow I don't think that will be humans but interesting thought imo.

The link between the big bang and darwin's theory hasnt showed up yet. Btw I dont believe in evolution, I dont deny the fact that species can evolve, but I just dont belive in the concept overall. Male lions is famous for alot of things - aggressive, big and powerful king of beats, protective mane, lazy. Lion expects (Craig Packer) have conducted studies in determining the reasons for lion prides and why males grow a mane. The studies show lions (females) join together to defend their area or hunting ground or real estate against other predators such as Hyenas, outside lions. It makes sense since in Kruger National park, the best areas are occupied by the largest and strongest prides which usually consists of three or males defending it. Since male lions spend most of their fighting and trying to take over another pride, evolution has equipped them with protective mane. It makes sense. Anyway I want to ask, since lions are related to other big cats, can the other cats have the potential to grow manes under the same conditions? I hope people understand what i'm trying to ask.

It's no good in humid, swampland like tigers are used to.
